Terry Jones is a career strategist, advisor, and executive coach based in New York City. He spent nearly 20 years in corporate America, coming up through operations before moving into Learning & Development, giving him a ground-level understanding of how organizations actually work, how decisions get made, and how careers advance or stall from the inside.
He served as VP of L&D at CompassRock, Head of L&D at Fairstead, and L&D Director at Rose Associates, all in New York City. He has consulted with large, reputable organizations including Chimes International, the National Urban League, the five-star Baccarat Hotel in New York City, and other organizations across multiple industries.
At one point in his career, he advanced from Manager to Vice President in 14 months. He has sat in the rooms where career decisions are made, who advances, who gets overlooked, and why. What he learned there became the foundation of this work.
